Write for Us

Atlas 24 is always looking for passionate travel writers to contribute to our website and digital magazine, with our main focus being on the perfect day.

Read our articles on the site to get a feel for what we are looking for, but are mostly looking for articles like:

  • 24-hour city guides: these could include places to eat, activities, spas.

  • Cruise Ports: how to make the most of a port in 8 hours or less, the best tours/shore excursions or a first-person narrative style of storytelling. Make sure you mention some cruise lines which dock at the port.

  • Adventure: Adventurous activities you can do in a place such as zip-lining, snorkelling, rafting etc.
  • Extreme day trips: making the most of one unforgettable day in a city. This works as an itinerary with times and include transport to and from airport

  • Layovers: Include how long it takes to get from an airport into the centre, visa/immigration information.
  • Rail Holiday Stops: Mention which companies offer journeys which stop here.
  • Food and Drink: You could give listicles of where to eat and drink in a place, an itinerary with breakfast, lunch, dinner or an experience of one restaurant.
  • Spa/Wellness: Spa days and wellness retreats, could be written in a first-person narrative style or be more informative.

We are also looking for features spotlighting places for our digital magazine which is coming soon. This would be a four page spread which would have a detailed and descriptive introduction to a place, what a perfect day would look like/itinerary, the top things to do in that place and food/drink and practical tips.

What We Offer

Whilst we are unable to offer paid commissions until the website/magazine grows we can offer our contributors:

  • A byline on every article you submit whether on the website or in the magazine

  • A space for your bio, including links to your blog, social media, or website

  • Exposure to our growing audience of travel enthusiasts

  • The chance to build your portfolio and join a community of travel writers

Atlas 24 is currently volunteer-driven, but as the site grows we plan to begin paying contributors. For now, this is a great opportunity to get published, gain visibility, and share your travel expertise.
